For me, photography is an art form, not a revenue generator, and as such, I am able to concentrate on the work itself, rather than worrying about money.  If I sell a few photos, well that would be nice...but I am in it for the love of the art!

The site contains a gallery of my published work, stock photography, personal favorites and prints available for your personal enjoyment. 

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for taking a few moments out of your schedule to enjoy my site. Tonight,  two of the three photos I entered into the VBPC Monthly Competition took 3rd Place.  One in Color Prints, entitled "FOAMHENGE" and one I recently took at the Norfolk Zoo, entitled "MERCAT."  "FOAMHENGE" was a very interesting find, be sure to Google it - it is hilarious!

After much soul-searching, I decided to enter some photos into a Regional Competition, the PSA MIDATLANTIC CHAPTER ANNUAL COMPETITION  The photo, "MOTHER & DAUGHTER" took third Place in the Digital/Color Slide Open Competition!  This was my first Regional Competition AND win!

Tonight,  one of my more recent photos took 1st Place in the VBPC Digital Manipulation Category.  The photo, "MOTHER & DAUGHTER" was actually an impromptu "posed" shot of a couple of fellow photographers.  I ran it through a few filters in PhotoShop to come up with a quite stunning photo!

Tonight, I had the honor of being elected as President of the Virginia Beach Photography Club.  This is a huge undertaking, but one I believe will be good for both the Club and myself!
