For me, photography is an art form, not a revenue generator, and as such, I am able to concentrate on the work itself, rather than worrying about money.  If I sell a few photos, well that would be nice...but I am in it for the love of the art!

The site contains a gallery of my published work, stock photography, personal favorites and prints available for your personal enjoyment. 

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for taking a few moments out of your schedule to enjoy my site. I have been a photographer since my early high school years, and have always wanted to share my work with others.  If you feel led to do so, please sign the guest registry and feel free to add your thoughts...I always like suggestions from the viewers as they help me to become a better photographer.

At this evenings monthly Virginia Beach Photography Club meeting, I managed to take TWO awards; ISABEL'S OCEAN was awarded THIRD PLACE in the B&W PRINT Category, and "REACHING FOR THE SUN" was awarded THIRD PLACE in the Color Print Category.  Check the AWARDS link above to see the photos.

The exhibition at the Richmond Public Library has ended, and it was a great month.  Many people took the time to email me their comments, and the Library Staff asked me to consider participating again in the future.  My thanks to all of you who braved the heat opening night, as well as everyone who stopped by the show.  It was a wonderful experience!!

Wow, the opening night was great!  Things started out a bit slow, due to the extreme heat and humidity in Richmond, but by 830pm, there were people flowing through the gallery.  I met some of the other artists exhibiting this month, as well as many wonderful Richmond folks, and even a few brave souls who braved the treacherous drive to Richmond (thanks, VDOT!)  My thanks to everyone who attended, and I hope that my nervousness wasn't showing TOO much!
